The Mandarin Business Association (MBA) is a non-profit organization, which was incorporated on July 11, 2003 in the States of California. Mr. Otto Huang, the founder of MBA, was elected as the first President for the organization. The purpose of MBA is to coordinate and consolidate the minority business people, entrepreneurs and educators of the San Francisco Bay Area.

MBA works with various federal government agencies and the Northwestern Polytechnic University in finding business and job opportunities for the minorities. MBA is a non-profit organization under Section 501 (c) (3) of Internal Revenue Service for tax exemption status.

On August 17, 2010, the monthly Board of Director meeting was held at Foster City. Grace Huang, Jan Liu, Stella Ma, Jully Chen, Nelson Chen, William Chow, Simon Tony and Qi Jing attended the meeting. and Catherine Chen, Joseph Lau, Thomas Chao were absent. The main topic is planning the MBA Annual Banquet for 9/26/2010. All VIPs invitation letter should be sent out before 8/23.

On July 13, the monthly Board of Director meeting was held at Foster City. Grace Huang, Catherine Chen, Jan Liu, Stella Ma, Jully Chen, Nelson Chen, William Chow, Joseph Lau, Simon Tony and Qi Jing attended the meeting. and Thomas Chao was absent. The main topic is planning the MBA Annual Banquet on 9/26/2010. Also as ILF chief advisers, some of MBA board members will attend ILF annual meeting at Washington DC at late July. We wish them big success.

The monthly Board of Director meeting was held on June 15, 2010 at Foster City. Grace Huang, Catherine Chen, Jan Liu, Stella Ma, Jully Chen, Nelson Chen, William Chow, Joseph Lau and Qi Jing attended the meeting. Simon Tony and Thomas Chao was absent. The agenda for the meeting is: 1. Jan Liu will be the new president for 2010-2011; 2. Catherine Chen has MBA permanent membership due to her major contribution; 3. Discuss MBA long term mission and relationship with ILF, Otto Huang Fundation, etc.

The monthly Board of Director meeting was held on May 18, 2010 at Foster City. Grace Huang, Catherine Chen, Jan Liu, Stella Ma, Jully Chen, Nelson Chen, Simon Tony, Joseph Lau and Qi Jing attended the meeting. Thomas Chao was absent. The agenda for the meeting is: 1. The MBA Annual Banquet will be held on Sunday 09/26/2010 at Cupertino; 2. Postpone the public seminar from 5/23/2010 to later time of 2010 because one of the key speakers is not able to make it; 3. Discuss the student exchange from CCI (Center for Cultural Interchange).
